We are tucked deep into the Deschutes National Forest and cell reception varies based on your location on our campus. Wifi & enhanced Verizon reception are available on the lodge deck and in the main lodge.
No. Due to extreme fire danger in the National Forest, our entire campus is smoke and fire free. Smoking or vaping of any kind, use of candles, open flame or fireworks is strictly prohibited.

Driving Directions
From Seattle/Portland:
- I-5 south to exit 253 towards Hwy 22 East. Hwy 22 will turn into Hwy 20 before heading up Santiam Pass. Go over the pass, and drive past Suttle Lake. We are close to mile marker 91. Turn left (north) at Metolius-Camp Sherman Road #1419. Travel 4 miles, we are the first resort on the right. If on Hwy 20 you see Black Butte Ranch, you’ve gone too far.
From Eugene:
- I-5 to Hwy 126 east to Hwy 20 east. Same as above on Hwy 20.
From California:
- I-5 north to Weed, go to Klamath Falls. Hwy 97 north to Bend. Head through Bend and take Hwy 20 west. Turn right at mile marker 91, Camp Sherman/Metolius Recreation Area. Go straight 4 miles, first resort on the right.
Lake Creek Lodge is situated in Camp Sherman, Oregon, a small community tucked into the Deschutes National Forest in the Metolius River Basin. We are:

Yes, we have installed two 220 volt “NEMA 14-50 Sockets”. Some (but not all) charging kits included in EV’s come with an adapter so they can be plugged into this type of socket. We currently do not have adapters for guest use at this time.
Cabin Details
Yes! Well-behaved furry friends are welcome to stay at Lake Creek Lodge in designated cabins. Find more information on our Pet Friendly Info page.

We have inventoried your cabin’s contents to make sure it is fully stocked. If something is broken, please bring it to our attention. If your kitchen items travel, please keep track and bring them back. We appreciate your help.
Yes. Each cabin has a propane grill. Propane and grilling utensils are provided.
We do not provide daily refresh service. Additional towels or linens can be requested from the front desk.
A one-time cleaning fee applies to all reservations for the cleaning of the cabins after your departure. We ask that you wash, dry and put away your dishes before you depart, and notify us of any issues that may have occurred during your stay.
