Voices of the Community: A Celebration of Local Authors

April brings many surprises to Lake Creek Lodge and the surroundings. Wildflowers poke their
heads up, wildlife roams the property, and this year, we welcome our new restaurant owners,
Sean and Chasen. In the spirit of community, we feature reading and discussion of books by local
authors Wednesdays in April from 3:30-5:00 PM in the bar. Appetizers and mixed drinks, wine, beer,
and specialty coffees are available from the menu. Discounted autographed books will be available.

On April 23, we feature a very special guest, internationally renowned author Lynn R Miller,
sharing his books Glass Horse and Brown Dwarf, Variously described as Vigilant Fiction,
Speculative Fiction, and Neo-cultural Literary Fiction, which is to say it is challenging to
categorize! Suffice it to say, it is enigmatic, difficult to put down, and eminently readable. Lynn
and his wife Kristi own Davila Press in Sisters and publish the Small Farmers Journal.
